Reef Safe Fish is a BC based environmental engineering and product development firm. We are focused on using technological innovation to reduce the environmental impact of aquaculture, while increasing its output to support the world's growing population.
RSF is actively developing a proprietary algae bioreactor with unparallel biosecurity and dependability. Our initial target market is shellfish aquaculture, with future applications in biofuels, pharmaceuticals, and waste recycling.
While being developed as a stand-alone product, this bioreactor is also the foundation for our next product, a multi-trophic waste recycling and feed production facility for closed containment salmon farms. This facility will be integrated with closed containment farms to improve their margins, practically eliminate their waste output, and reduce their dependence on fish feeds originating from wild caught fish.
RSF also generates revenue through contract based environmental & mechanical engineering. With a combination of in-house design skills and a network of skilled contractors, we can handle projects of varying complexity, from custom parts to full scale aquaculture sites.
